Shawnigan Lake is conveniently located on southern Vancouver Island, BC.

Perfectly situated between Victoria and Nanaimo, with a convenient 45-minute drive from either city via Trans-Canada Highway 1, Shawnigan Lake is well-positioned as a vacation destination or primary home away from it all. Take in the scenic area views as you prepare yourself to return to nature, peace and relaxation on the lake.

From Downtown Victoria

From downtown Victoria, take Douglas Street which turns in to Trans-Canada Highway/BC-1 North for 28km, or approximately 25-30 minutes. Turn left on to  Shawnigan Lake Road and continue for approximately 13km until the road turns slightly left on to Renfrew Road. From there turn left at Worthington Road for one block and then another left onto Cullin Road. DhillSean Estate is located on your right hand side.

Directions from Downtown Nanaimo, BC

From downtown Nanaimo take Nichol Street which turns in to Trans-Canada Highway/BC-1 South for approximately 50km. Turn right on to  Shawnigan Lake Road and continue for approximately 13km until the road turns slightly left on to Renfrew Road. From there turn left at Worthington Road for one block and then another left onto Cullin Road. DhillSean Estate is located on your right hand side.

From the Lower Mainland/Vancouver

Shawnigan Lake is easily accessible for guests from the Lower Mainland by both BC Ferries and Harbour Air. BC Ferries has terminals in Swartz Bay, Victoria as well as Duke Point in Nanaimo. Each terminal is roughly a one hour drive from the lake. Harbour Air’s terminals for scheduled flights are conveniently situated in downtown Victoria and downtown Nanaimo. They also offer private charters directly to the common docks at Shawnigan Lake.

By Victoria International or Nanaimo Airport

If you are coming to Shawnigan Lake by international airport,  Victoria International Airport is roughly a 90-minute drive from Shawnigan Lake and Nanaimo Airport is roughly 50 minutes to the lake.
